About Me

Kolossus Interactive isn’t exactly colossal — it’s a one-man web design & development studio located in San Francisco. I have…

  • Designed attractive and usable user interfaces for small startups and companies as large as Apple
  • Done a heck of a lot of standards-compliant XHTML/CSS coding
  • Built cross-browser javascript libraries and used AJAX techniques long before the term existed
  • Implemented some wicked-slick Flash-based user interfaces
  • Developed (what were then-)cutting-edge 3D graphics algorithms
  • Programmed commercial shrink-wrapped computer games for the Mac and Windows in C++

What I’m Up To

I’m currently busy with some web projects of my own making, but I’m open to discussing contract/employment opportunities if they’re exciting/promising/lucrative. You can see a bit about my past projects on the projects page and what I can do for you on the services page. Contact me if you have a project you think I’d be interested in.

What I’ve Been Up To

In addition to all the pixel wrangling, use-case-modeling, and code slinging, I also do a fair bit of drawing & sculpting. In fact, I spent 2003-2005 doing not much else while pursuing my MFA at the New York Academy of Art. You can see more about this other side of me at jonwolfe.com.

What I’m Blogging About

The blog on this site, Kblog, is my journal of all things related to web development, design, and technology. In addition to updates about my projects, it contains tips I think will be useful to other designers & developers, my thoughts on current tech news, and anything that tickles my geek fancy.
